James has long been in love with the stories told in science fiction and fantasy. A self proclaimed nerd, he proudly lines his room with the books that he loves. Sky Bound and Water Tower were written while he was in high school, Surface was written his sophomore year of college. Along with books, James writes and performs music that he enjoys and hopes others do as well. Raised in San Diego, California, James now lives in Nashville, Tennessee mixing live music more often than sleeping.
