Social Responsibility

Singer/Songwriter, Author, and Advocate, James Morris is on a mission to make the world a better place one word, song, and book at a time. James Morris aims to inspire teens to take action in the world. “Let me challenge you, don’t be idle, be a part of your community and do something good for the world.”

For the past six years, James has been involved with charities and causes that protect and support at-risk kids and teens and help raise awareness to find the missing. As founder of the Earn Your Wings Foundation, James strives to bring safety and awareness programs to schools and the community, as well as support the “What Safe Looks Like” initiatives and poster contest. Some of the groups he has worked with include the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the National Centers for Childrens’ Advocacy, the Chadwick Center at Rady Children’s Hospital, Gina Foundation for Missing Persons, Canine Companions for Independence, the Alicia Project, and Project Connect Nashville. When asked why he is committed to this mission, his answer is profoundly simple; “Hope. The ability for me to provide support and strength and put that glimmer of hope in someone’s life is why I do this.”
